A few words from the organizer
The « Marcel Queheille » pays tribute to the former Basque champion, an excellent climber, who won a stage in the 1959 Tour de France that ended in Bayonne. As Mauléon-Licharre is located at the foot of the Pyrenees, the cyclosportive is dominated by the passes: Ahusquy, Bagargui, Burdincurutcheta and Gamia. The landscapes are magnificent and the gradients sometimes terrible. It is advisable to plan a suitable development to make the most of this beautiful excursion in the Basque Country.
